Anastasia Dosov
Functional medicine provider | Educator | Guest speaker

Hello, I’m Anastasia Dosov, a certified professional in Integrative Nutrition with a Diploma in Integrative Nutrition from the European Institute of Longevity and certification from the Institute for Functional Medicine. Currently, I am completing my Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States, where I am deepening my expertise in the science and application of functional nutrition.

My academic journey includes pre-medical education in Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Studies, which has enriched my understanding of both health sciences and diverse human perspectives. This unique background fuels my evidence-based approach to health, emphasizing personalized wellness strategies designed to support optimal well-being.

Like many clinicians in functional medicine, I was drawn to this field by personal experiences that required persistence, curiosity, and advocacy for my own care. My journey into holistic health began when my husband was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and faced the prospect of life-altering surgery. Determined to find alternatives, I immersed myself in research and, through targeted lifestyle and dietary changes, helped him achieve remission without medication. This transformative experience solidified my belief that health is not just influenced by genetics but also by our behavior and environment—our epigenetics.

When consulting with my clients, I take a truly integrative approach, viewing health as a whole system rather than isolated parts. My work involves a deep analysis of health history, symptoms, and biochemistry, crafting personalized nutrition plans, lifestyle interventions, and tailored supplement protocols to address root causes rather than just symptoms.
Curiosity and connection drive my clinical practice, transforming each patient interaction into an opportunity to expand my knowledge. One of my key strengths is identifying patterns within seemingly unrelated data from a person’s history, labs, and symptoms to uncover the root causes of their condition. For instance, I worked with a client who suffered from chronic migraines, traced to COMT mutations affecting neurotransmitter and hormone balance. By addressing these imbalances with targeted strategies to support serotonin regulation, we were able to alleviate her debilitating symptoms.

Beyond my clinical work, I am deeply passionate about education. I love sharing knowledge through webinars and hosting educational seminars for broad audiences. Whether speaking to professionals, students, or the general public, I strive to make complex health topics accessible and actionable. As an educator and speaker, my goal is to empower individuals with the tools and understanding they need to make informed choices for their health and well-being.
