Hello, I’m Anastasia Dosov, MS, CNS, LDN, a clinical and functional nutritionist dedicated to helping clients identify the underlying factors contributing to their health concerns. I hold a Master of Science in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States and have completed training through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

I completed advanced clinical internship training with Dr. Oscar Coetzee and additional specialized training with Dr. Bryan Walsh in functional clinical practice and biochemical analysis. During my graduate studies, I also studied gastrointestinal imbalances and microbiome-focused clinical care under Dr. Jason Hawrelak, an internationally recognized clinician, researcher, and educator in gastrointestinal health, probiotics, prebiotics, and microbiome restoration.

My entry into functional medicine began with a deeply personal turning point. When my husband developed severe ulcerative colitis and faced the possibility of surgery, I turned to research, determined to understand every aspect of his condition. His recovery required us to look beyond symptom management and examine the relationships among the gut microbiome, nutrition, lifestyle, and intestinal health. Through microbiome-directed care, targeted nutritional strategies, and lifestyle changes, he achieved remission without ongoing medication.

That experience reshaped my understanding of health and ultimately led me to pursue a career in clinical nutrition. It reinforced my belief that although genetics influence our health, our environment, nutrition, behavior, microbiome, and metabolic landscape can profoundly shape clinical outcomes.

Today, my practice centers on a meticulous analysis of each client’s health history, symptoms, laboratory findings, dietary patterns, and biochemistry. I use this information to develop individualized nutrition and lifestyle plans rather than relying on generalized protocols. I view the body as an interconnected system, not as a collection of isolated symptoms.

Alongside my clinical work, I am committed to education and research. I regularly translate complex scientific concepts into practical guidance through webinars, community seminars, and educational resources. Whether speaking with clients, students, healthcare professionals, or community audiences, my goal is to help people better understand their physiology and make informed, confident decisions about their health.
